Global crude oil price of Indian Basket

Global crude oil price of Indian Basket continued to be US$ 106.02 per bbl on 05.05.2014

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas continued to be US$ 106.02 per barrel (bbl) on 05.05.2014, the same as on previous publishing day of 02.05.2014

In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket decreased marginally to Rs 6366.50 per bbl on 05.05.2014 as compared to Rs 6385.58 per bbl on 02.05.2014. This was due to decrease in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 60.05 per US$ on 05.05.2014 as against Rs 60.23 per US$ on 02.05.2014.
